RSI Community Links

Anything is harder to deal with when you’re going it alone. Become involved in one or more of the following community sites - forums, discussion groups, support groups, and share your experiences with others.

altkeyboards (Yahoo Group)
An online discussion group to discuss Alternative Keyboards and keyboard layouts for computers. Looking outside the box that contains QWERTY keyboards.
Association for Repetitive Motion Syndromes (ARMS)
A not-for-profit organization committed to assisting workers at-risk or injured by repetitive motion syndromes. ARMS also provides assistance to employers, workers compensation specialists, and health care professionals.
Central London RSI Support Group
An independent group of people who suffer from an RSI condition and meet monthly in central London to provide mutual support and advice in dealing with these debilitating conditions.
Dutch RSI Association
The Dutch RSI Association was set up in 1995 and currently has almost 5000 members. It is run almost exclusively by RSI sufferers, as a non-profit organisation, with the aim of helping others with RSI. It is partly thanks to our efforts that the condition is now taken seriously as a work hazard.
Ergoweb Forum
Join the world’s largest forum on ergonomics, serving thousands of international members. It’s moderated for quality, and it’s free.
FindADoc
A non-commercial, voluntary effort to provide a list of health care providers for RSI patients, contributed by RSI sufferers themselves. If you’re having trouble finding a doctor or therapist that is knowledgeable about RSI, check with FindADoc.
Los Angeles RSI Support Group
This site features information about their meetings and about RSI in general. The site contains personal stories, a nice collection of RSI links, information about treatment options and home remedies, and advice on seeking Workers’ Compensation.
RSI & Overuse Injury Association (Australia)
The RSI & Overuse Injury Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing a support network for people in Australia with repetitive strain injuries or OOS.
RSI Action (Boston)
Boston-area support for people with repetitive strain injuries. A program of MassCOSH, the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health.
RSI Action (UK)
RSI Action is an organization based in the United Kingdom (England) which raises awareness of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) conditions and the consequences, and hopes, through education, to significantly reduce RSI risks at home, in schools, and in the workplace.
RSI Awareness
The UK-based RSI Association provides help and information to people with Repetitive Strain Injury, offering detailed factsheets on many aspects of RSI, a quarterly RSI magazine, and conferences and workshops on RSI matters. The RSI Association promotes best practice on RSI in the workplace and a wider understanding of RSI, as well as encouraging research into the nature and treatment of RSI. Their web site also offers an RSI discussion forum.
RSI Forum (Dutch)
A Dutch forum about Repetitive Strain Injuries. Here you can find over 1500 topics dedicated to RSI, CTD, CTS and carpal tunnel. Online forum en community voor RSI patienten.
RSI Support Groups
A comprehensive listing of RSI and Injured Worker Support Groups.
Sorehand
Sorehand is an online community (e-mail discussion list) dedicated to sharing information about repetitive stress injuries and related topics for people with repetitive strain injuries (RSIs). Sorehand members range from those severely injured to those who think they may be developing symptoms of an RSI to the friends and families of those injured.
TalkRSI.com
A forum for fellow RSI sufferers to really share their stories in a friendly environment and get informative answers to their queries.
